About Us

Foundation Human Rights for Eritreans was founded in The Netherlands in order to assist and guide Eritreans in the diaspora community in The Netherlands, and to advocate for the rights of Eritreans worldwide. We stand up for the rights of Eritreans in Eritrea, as well as abroad. Where we view that human rights are violated, we advocate for change; where necessary, we challenge – through letters, legal actions, and our voices – the violations of those rights. The Foundation has also consistently investigated and advocated for protecting Eritrean refugees against human trafficking networks, who extort and torture Eritreans, mainly in Libya – with indications that those networks are organised by Eritreans and with participation of Eritrean authorities.
